Mike Foster

Mike Foster started EBS in 1997 to create a unique company focused on providing analytical, product and consulting services to industries utilizing biological wastewater treatment. EBS provides training and consulting services which enable major clients to manage ever chancing effluent processing demands while meeting increasingly demanding NPDES compliance.
Prior to creating EBS, Mike gained industrial experience in sales, marketing, and research and development with a focus on wastewater treatment while working at Nalco Chemical Company and Dow.
Mike is a Certified Environmental Trainer. He has conducted wastewater seminars for MS Water Environment Association (MWEA), the Arkansas DEQ, the Arkansas Environmental Federation (AEF) and the Technical Association for the Pulp and Paper Industry (TAPPI). He is the author of several industry papers.
Mike is a member of the Technical Association of the Pulp and Paper Industry (TAPPI), the Water Environment Federation (WEF), the Louisiana and Mississippi Water Environment Associations (LWEA and MWEA), and the National Environmental Trainers Association (NESHTA). EBS is a Sustaining Member of NCASI.
Mike has a B.S. degree in Chemistry from the University of Southern Mississippi and a Masters in Instructional Technology from the University of Southern Mississippi. He is a Certified Environmental Trainer (CET) in wastewater and holds Class IV Wastewater Operator Licenses in MS, LA and AR.
